Getting Back To Basics With An Edge

WOW Everyone With Brochure Box CDs.

With the changing market and homes not selling in 24-48 hours, agents are getting back to basics and those who know how to market will shine! Back to basics doesn't mean you should be doing the same old thing, however. For back to basics to be effective it needs to have an edge, using today's technology.

Take brochure boxes, for instance. It wasn't that long ago that having a color flyer instead of black and white was considered cutting edge...but no longer. Color flyers are considered passe. What isn't passe is a multi-media CD presentation that promotes the property and yourself. Take a look at a sample on my website. I bet your competition isn't doing anything close to this! Brochure Box CDs are a great marketing tool for your listings and yourself, as well as, being a great listing tool. You are sure to WOW anyone who sees it.

Knowing how to market doesn't mean you have to know how to do it yourself. You just have to have the right people on your Team to get the job done. As your real estate Virtual Assistant, I can help you get the job done.

The idea is cool, but are consumers actually plugging them in and using them?  I have to say that I have NEVER looked at one of the cd's that another agent has left in a home. I will go to their web links though to check out their listing.  Doesn't that seem easier?   When people get out of the car to pick up a flyer they usually want immediate information--which they get from the flyer.  Unless they have their laptop in the car, the cd isn't going to give them instant gratification.

I went to the site to take a look.  It would be a lot better if you didn't need to download a plugin to view it. With some many standard video format pre-installed on windows machines, it seems unnecessary to have to dl anything. imho -charles

Cd are passe----you put them on dual layer dvds, that may its compatible with virtually all dvd players on the market.

The only downside to photodex is the the plug in but I still include the link on the property website and I know how great you are at doing them.  You can also have these cd's or dvd's available for the people that look at the home FREE take one or at an open house.

I think the concept is good as a supplement, but I wouldn't want to replace the Instant Gratification of an informative nicely presented color flyer.
