Grass is greener here in Austin, Tx

By
Real Estate Agent with Realty Texas

I have been reading alot of your blogs and am hearing alot of the same statements regarding the weather.  Spring has sprung in our area and bless your hearts some of you still have snow.  I am so grateful to live in Central Texas, Round Rock, Tx to be exact, where we maintain green roughly 10 months out of the year.

I heard from a lady in Chicago who stated, its still dismal here, its still cold. Brrrrrrrrr.  If it gets below 65 degrees here, I am in my sweat pants and have the ole gas logs a glowing.  I admire those of you who can withstand the cold, snow, blizzard like weather but wouldn't trade there for here for a million dollars.

Here is what I did last weekend when it was a beautiful 80 degrees, sunshine, blue skies and a slight wind....I laid out by the pool, read my articles, over due magazines, got prepared for the next day showings and then I barbequed some of the best filet mignons I have had in a while.

Now I am not bragging, just boasting about my great state of Texas. Listed above are several reasons to get here as fast as you can!!

Hey -- the snow is finally melting.  I am so glad that spring is here!  My tulips are starting to pop up -- I can see GREEN.  So it is getting Greener in New Hampshire too!  Enjoy the spring!

Suzanne, very informative blog. I flew into Dallas one time but never had the chance to even leave the airport. I hope to visit during football season. I am a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan for life. I am going to a game this year. Thanks, Keith

Suzanne, just read this blog after having made a comment on your other one.  I guess I'm not the only Texan amazed about weather differences.
