We are seeking a full time Lead Carpenter/Working Crew Leader for immediate employment. The Crew Leader will work under the supervision of Field Supervisor, and will likely have a helper assigned to them to supervise & lead hands-on in the work. The position has potential for long term stability, with a 90-day trial period ($15/hr starting wage first week).
Construction and carpentry experience is required. The applicant must be familiar with construction and remodeling of residential homes, and confidently demonstrate leadership & skill in replacing siding & exterior trim, building decks, replacing doors & windows, etc. Drywall experience a plus! The applicant must be able to work from ladders, and lift at least 80lbs.
The applicant must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with customers and represent the company well (you will be working at customer's homes), maintain required paper work, keep van & tools clean and organized, and be able to follow instructions from the Field Supervisor. Attention to detail is imperative!
Normal work days will be 7:00 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday with a half hour lunch break. The applicant must be able to start from our office daily & will need to provide personal tools (i.e. tool belt, tape measure, hammer, etc.). All other tools & work van are provided.
The applicant must have a current valid driver license and a 5 year driving history acceptable under the guidelines of the Safe Driving Policy. Background checks & drug testing may be performed and references are required.
Position will be covered by worker's comp insurance.
