BLUE JAY QUILT WALK This Saturday, Sept 26, 2015

I love quilts. I love quilting, too. In fact, I made my first quilt in the late 80’s after buying a little quilting Blue Jay Quilt Walkbook and just diving in. Of course, it wasn’t my best, but I enjoyed it so much I made many more. Nowadays, I’m busy with Real Estate and just don’t have the time. …maybe when I retire I’ll get back into it.

Anyway, the purpose of this post is to let you know The 7th Annual BLUE JAY QUILT WALK  is this weekend, September 26, 2015, 10 – 4PM. You don’t want to miss it!

This year’s theme is CABINS TO CASTLES and is sponsored by Willow Woods Quilt Guild and the Blue Jay Merchants Association.

Come out and view these magnificent pieces of “fabric art.” They are, really, pieces of art that wonderful people have spent hours, days and months designing and putting together. These beautiful quilts will be on display throughout our sweet little town of Blue Jay.

At 1:00 PM there will be a quilt auction where you can bid on your favorite quilt (after walking around and previewing).

So, come on up and come on out.

That's really neat. I have a couple quilts I've inherited and I love them.

Hi Karen:

Aren't they beautiful? For me, the quilting (I hand quilt the layers together) is so relaxing.
