Activities one finds on an early morning walk in Westchester, CA 90045. As most of you know me, since I left the military I can safely say I have not seen more than 30 Sunrises. I manage to do late night activity and I prefer it that way.
Lately for many reasons I have had to break from tradition and do a few....(too many for my taste) early morning activities.
We have gotten to know quite a few neighbors thanks to our dog. It so happens one is a Korean War Veteran and a proud patriotic American. when he is outside we banter back and forth and we do not hold it against each other that he is a Marina and I am an Army person from a different time....
Needless to say I was there for "Reveille" also known as "First Call" in the Military. When music is played and the flag is raised. So needless to say I bantered with him that he did not play the music! Just to be clear every morning he raises the flag at sunrise and every evening he lowers the flag at sunset!
