Hunters...you need to plan...

Reblogger Vern Eaton

This blog of William Feela hits a cord that holds true for all of live.

He talks about being prepared for hunting, but it holds true for all types of life situations.

Most people fail because they fail to plan or plan ahead.  Also they fail to put into action plans that get made.

Look at this blog as a life lesson.

I felt sorry for a young boy.  He was a bout 14 and looking forward to his first Deer Hunt.

Dad was at the counter of a large sporting goods store.

"What do you mean there are not any more gun training classes before hunting.

Gun training In Minnesota is at least 2 weekends and sometimes 3.  (1 day classes).

Dad complained about the lack of notice the state gives.   But, the state does not give notices.

This was a case of the father not planning ahead of time.  An example of not knowing the hunting rules and guidelines.  An example of thinking they don't need to read up on the current laws.

I feel sorry for the boy...but, maybe if he was so interested, he would have checked also.  But, the blame still lies on the father.

Ladies...DO NOT let your husband give you a hat like this!

Vern, planning is a critical part in life, and now the boy cannot enjoy his hunting outing with his father.
