I was reading a post today and someone was asking about whether they reciprocate to followers and in turn follow them..I had replied not necessarily.

It got me thinking..... What is the "proper" Twitter etiquette ?
What your personal opinion about who and what to follow ??

I have Twitter to shout out to friends, report football scores and brag about my kids and dogs.. personally.

But professionally, I have my facebook page tagged to send my AR and other posts to twitter automatically and to present my listings, price changes and local "experting" information.

My Twitter is a combination of both work and play. It may be a reflection of my personality, my interests and my sense of humor.

Twitter in my opinion is just a rapid fire affect with means to get info out and shared..and personally it does spread with re-tweets and favorites amongst my non-peer followers.

So, I'm curious how you interpret twitter and your profile/ tweets.

Are you in it for fun, work or both ??

Michele, I push my posts through Twitter, and will occasionally monitor it for election results or breaking news. Other than that, I don't tweet. Between ActiveRain and Facebook, (and sharing my blog posts through various SM), my time is spent.
