Drone Rules & Regulations, as well as Deadlines Released.
Dear Readers,
Larry Johnston from Elkhart County, IL, outlines the Rulings about drone usage. Pay particular attention to the weight limit to fly an unregistered Drone - - - very LOW --- one half pound or less!
In Georgia, a drone owner may register online and pay a fee of $5.00. Anyone registering within 30 days of December 21, 2015 will receive their money back. (Supposedly ...)
Check Larry Johnston 's informative post for more details.
Have a successful day -
Lynn

Drone Rules & Regulations, as well as Deadlines Released.
Drone Registration begins on Monday, December 21, 2015.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) , just released the long awaited answers to Drone Photography for Real Estate Professionals and other UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) operators.
Santa Brought Me a Drone for Christmas!
NOW WHAT?
It is expected there will be Christmas sales of 400,000 Drones this year, with more sales in 2016.
All Drones from .55 to 50+ lbs must be registered by February 19, 2016. Fines could be up to $27,500 for unregistered Drones. If the Drone was purchased before Monday, December 21, 2015, you have until the February deadline. If you purchased the Drone as of December 21, 2015, the drone must be registered before it can be flown.
The registration must be on-line and include your name, address and email address and will cost a $5 fee. That fee will be reimbursed for people that register their Drone within 30 days from Dec. 21.
Your registration will include the registration number and procedures to placed on the drone. This will make it easier to trace back to the owner, in the event of a crash or incident. For more than one drone you just put the same number on all of them. The regulations will be available when you register on-line.
The Drones are restricted to fly below 400 feet and not within 5 miles of an airport.
