WORDLESS WEDNESDAYS - REMEMBER THE ALAMO

By
Education & Training with Performance Development Strategies

I am attending a conference here in San Antonio.  Right next to my hotel is the Alamo.

The Alamo San Antonio TexasThe Alamo was defended by troops including former Tennessee Congressman Davy Crockett.  On March 6, 1836 the Alamo fell.  It was the battle-cry of "Remember the Alamo" that later spurred on the forces of Sam Houston at San Jacinto.

The Alamo is the most significant historical spot in Texas.

The Alamo was one the the first historical landmarks I remember learning about, in the movie with Fess Parker as Davie Crockett.

Larry - I remember that too from the movie.

Wayne and Jean - It was a great time.  Now back to winter.

Hi Donna - oh neat.  I didn't see it but would have liked it.

Hello Lisa Von Domek you were right that it was not large.  Sort of small right out on the street.  We could not take pictures inside even without flash.  But it still has the historical significance and worth seeing.

Hello Lou - It was definitely a step back in history.
