It is Monday morning at 9AM and here they come these annoying telemarketing calls . I receive so many of these calls and they are really annoying . Most of them do come in from an out of area code not a local area code . I will say lately some have started to come in on local phone lines .
Because I am a Real Estate agent I felt compelled to answer these calls Now I let these annoying calls go into voice mail
Last week I received one and I was in a very unusual mood and listened for a few minutes . They congratulated me I was now eligible for a collage scholarship would I please tell them what year I received my GED or graduated High School . I said I am 85 years old . I did not want to go back to collage ..CLICK is what I heard on the other end . How rude these callers are . Then I blocked this caller on my Phone . By the way I am not eighty five Today I received the same call . I told them not interest take me off your list .It was a different local number and I blocked this number too
It is sad that we feel we cannot answer our phones in fear it is someone trying to solicite their services to us or con us .There should be a law or is there ?
How many senior citizens have been scammed by these phone calls ?
I am on a DO NOT CALL LIST but the calls come anyway - Congratulations your business has been awarded a high priorty loan - Do you receive these annoying calls too !
