Pasadena Is…
I have written extensively about Pasadena, California.
And since I practice real estate in Pasadena that writing often includes many topics related to this field.
Announcements of properties for sale and sold.
Plus neighborhood trends.
Market reports and updates for homes - condos - townhomes - lofts
But there’s more to Pasadena than homes with character-rich architecture on beautiful tree-lined streets. Although I freely admit - it’s one of the many things that led me to live, work and play in this area.
There really is so much more.. .
Entertainment. Culture. Traditional and not-s0-traditional.
Opportunities for reflection as well as recreation.
Dining. "In" as it relates to home. Or "Out" as in the abundant possibilities available in the over 500 restaurants here.
There are things. To see. To do.
Then there are other things. To experience.
This is a diverse city. Alive. Evolving.
A respect for history but forward thinking.
Big city convenient but still small town in some ways.
Sure it’s sophisticated at times but really quite casual too.
A city where the guy sitting next to you might be a Nobel prize winner. Or a rocket scientist. Or maybe plays one on television.
There are choices here. And the choices are numerous.
A walk or drive through the city will lead to many discoveries.
Beautiful neighborhoods. A thriving business environment.
Helpful residents and happy visitors.
A certain specialness to the place.
A place to have fun. To learn. To grow.
In this post I share photos of the Wrigley Gardens at the Tournament House on South Orange Grove Boulevard at the home of the Tournament of Roses.
A street in a neighborhood adjacent to the Huntington Langham Hotel.
A view overlooking the Arroyo Seco with the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center in the foreground.
While pictures may tell a story - this is a city that needs to be experienced first hand. Think of this as an invitation to see Pasadena. I have a lot to share about this very special place.
