Thankful for Good Books to Read

We have a very windy and chilly day in Kentlands. It is a good time to read a book. I am thankful that we have an excellent public library system in Montgomery County, Maryland that gives us access to the latest outstanding novels. Enjoy a good book or two this week!

ActiveRain Ambassador  Debbie Reynolds is sponsoring a November challenge for member bloggers to write about the things for which we are thankful during this season of Thanksgiving.

You still have time to submit daily blogs in this contest.

Roy Kelley,  if I had a wish I could actually have, maybe something to put on my 'bucket list,' it would be to have 3 whole years in a locked college library.  I only would have the key - to now and then take a book out to the Waikiki beach to read. Yes, a library at University of Hawaii, Manoa Valley, on the Island of Oahu (Honolulu).  I love books, knowledge, research, great libraries, and the Hawaiian Islands. Hoping you already are enjoying your book for the day.

We have a cold and windy Monday morning in Maryland. High winds since Saturday evening have caused a lot of damage to trees and roofs.

Have an outstanding Thanksgiving week.

At 7 p.m. on Sunday in the east, it became Monday on ActiveRain. I have been awarded points over the weekend but am still not receiving notifications on comments even though I am receiving other notifications. Other members report that they have not been awarded points over the Thanksgiving weekend.
