Blogging Through Life

Education & Training with TEAM Hughes Real Estate School REI#ZH1003093

Technology has made the world smaller, and it’s easier to reach out to people.  Sometimes, I feel as though I am blogging my way through life, however.  The practice of real estate has always been a people business, and without meeting people, it’s difficult to become successful.  Owning a real estate school is a different animal altogether.

My contact with people is not daily, and TEAM Hughes Real Estate School depends heavily on its website to attract prospective students.  Blogging is necessary to help boost the SEOs so that people can find us, and there are days when I feel I am blogging through life rather than experiencing it.  I love to blog and I know it helps our cause, but there are times I miss practicing real estate.  Blogging through life is a lonely sport sometimes, while practicing real estate is always full of people.

Teaching real estate is fun and when I am in front of a class I am happy.  I love being able to take all that “stuff” that’s been stored in my memory bank for years and to pass it on to others who absorb much of the facts and information given so that they can reach their goals.  Whether teaching to unlicensed students who want to practice real estate or teaching to agents who want to become better in their careers, I am happiest when I am with a class.

Blogging through life can be rewarding when someone gets the point.  Believe me, there are days the blog is put together just to fulfill the requirement to blog.  When the blog teaches or inspires someone, that’s when blogging through life is rewarding.  Those days when someone comments on the blog and I know they get it, I am happy and it spurs me on toward more blogging.

Not everyone can blog, and some blog more often and more better than I do.  Blogging is a talent that must be sharpened frequently.  Blogging is a challenge that I meet three times a week.  Blogging is a small way for someone to understand that our real estate school is made up of people who want to help other people.  Blogging through life is not for everyone, but for me, I’ll continue as long as I possibly can put thoughts into words that make sense.

If you know that a career in real estate is what you’ve been longing for, even if you are not planning to blog your way through life, there is a vast array of tools at your disposal that will help you in your real estate career.  You cannot find out what they are, however, until you let someone teach you, and it all starts with our school.  Get your real estate license now so you can begin to follow your dreams and to find out what niche will help you succeed.  Classes are every month, and the May classes are forming now.  TEAM Hughes Real Estate School is here to serve – that’s what we do, so why not take advantage of us?  We’re waiting for you!

Great blog, Carrie Hughes . I can see where blogging - and even teaching - could get lonely at times compared to sales. But we are learning from you so keep at it!

It's wonderful that you teach skills needed for marketing. My school only taught what was necessary to pass the exam.

Thanks for sharing, Lynda.  For pre licensing, we are like any other school - we must teach what is needed for the exams, but for post licensing, we tend to train more than teach, so that the agents receive practical advice.
