Dreams

Dreams are a part of our DNA.  We all have dreams of something better, but at some point, dreams must go from inspiration to participation.  To continue dreaming without executing the dream’s ending is fruitless.  We must bring our dreams into a place of reality.

As a younger woman, my dream was to speak in front of people, but I wanted to have something to give people, and I wasn’t sure what I would ever have that other people would want.  The dreams I had throughout the years changed many times, but they always came back to the one common thread, i.e. giving away something I had.

Years later, through many series of events, my dreams became clearer.  I had opportunities to minister to women, to teach to young people, and to be instrumental in real estate agents’ betterment of themselves.  My dreams took different shapes as my life took different shapes, and the dreams never dissipated.  It wasn’t until we began TEAM Hughes Real Estate School that my dreams were completely realized and fulfilled.  I have been blessed with the ability to pass on information that others need to achieve their dreams.

Having dreams is a good thing.  It gives you more purpose in life and it gives you a path to follow.  Many students tell me that they’ve always dreamed of being self-employed, or they’ve dreamed of selling real estate.  The students with strong servant hearts are the most exciting to me because with that servant’s heart comes a resolve to bring their dreams into reality and to fruition.  It’s exciting when a student declares he or she will not stop until the dreams are fulfilled.

Obviously, when I blog, I am blogging to an audience of people who are somehow related to the real estate industry and to people who want a real estate license.  In either case, there has been a dream directly related to having a real estate license, and many times, I have had the pleasure of watching someone’s dream lead to reality, which is exciting.  Our school is in the business of helping our students make their dreams come true.
