Arizona is well known as a retirement destination.  With over 330 days of abundant sunshine, golf courses, entertainment, sporting events, and affordable housing, Arizona has become a favorite place to buy a retirement home.   Prices are still relatively affordable with a current median price of $240,000 in the Phoenix area.   Why Should I Buy a Retirement Home in Arizona?   Because it's cost effective and there are many options to choose from.

Since our median home prices are affordable, there are plenty of options for housing.  Maricopa County is also the 5th largest county in the US ranging over 400 square miles with a population of over 4 million, so using a trusted real estate professional that knows the differences in the areas is a must.  Areas can vary widely and so can price ranges.

If you’re looking for a lock and leave type of home, condos and townhomes make great retirement homes.  Homeowner Associations that are included in the condo and townhome complexes offer exterior maintenance of the units, community amenities, fitness centers and swimming pools .  These make retirement carefree, allowing more free time in your retirement years.

You're right Endre Barath, Jr. ! which is why California is our #1 state for relocations.  After all, we don't have a beautiful ocean to view - tee hee!

Thank you Sheila Anderson !  We do have low inventory and prices are inching up, but they are there!  Thanks!
