I don't pretend to be a good photographer or even a decent one. I use a professional for everything now except photos on the run. What I mean be that is I sell primarily new construction in the dirt phase to out of state investors and i want to give them periodic updates to let them know where we are in the process. The point is not to give them pro pictures but to inform, but when you use an iPhone you are going to get some poor pictures. Here is an example of taking a duplex living and dining. The duplex is long rather than wide and does not have much light with no windows on the long walls or in the back. Here is the before picture which is very dim:
By using what is on the iPhone I can enhance just a bit to at least let them see that the flooring is in as well as granite, electrical fixtures, and blinds. On this visit I took ictures of the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms also. At the duplex I checked the pictures and then sent them in small size to the investor who was expecting them and email replied, thank you. Doing something with photography in real time is not about incredible pictures, it is about communication. At this I can be effective and make the investor-cleint happy. I just wanted to do a variation on business photography for the rank amatuer who can still be a hero to the client. Here is the after photo.
