As I started watching the video, I was wondering where are the REAL agents...then I found them. Very cute!

Good morning Debbie.  I much prefer the first few seconds of this video.  I don't want to face reality, yet, this year.

Both glamorous and not so much. Such is the life of people like us. Again, good luck with everything this year!

Oh yes, Debbie... I've seen this before and loved it. Also, been there and done that!

Good morning Debbie. While there is a lot less glamour than most folks think, I didn't clean and move things on my own. Sorry, that wasn't my job. I did wait in lines to get permits and drive around to accomplish things sellers couldn't or wouldn't.

The problem with professionalism in real estate, is that so much of what we do is behind the scenes.  We make it look easy, when often it's a very complicated business.  I hadn't realized how easy it appears until I once stood in a checkout line at my grocery store.  Two gals in front of me were talking when one said she was considering becoming a real estate agent.  She had just come from an Open House and witnessed an agent taking buyers through the home.  "How difficult can that be," asked the gal.

Very cute Debbie Reynolds  my daughter always says I am like the Realtor in American Beauty who says'  " I will sell this house today "  as she is cleaning the windows .  Easy and glamorous  

Debbie Reynolds - I really enjoyed the video you shared. It really hits home. The life of a Real Estate Agent is not as easy as people think. Between us, I love how much easier technology has made it for us; however, with all the HGTV, Home Improvement Shows, Property Brothers, etc., I think shows like that have distorted consumers perceptions and made our work more challenging due to expectations.

Hi Debbie Reynolds LOL!  I love it when someone approaches me and thinks out loud about being an agent. They see the tip of the iceberg like the video points out at the beginning! I like to watch the eyeballs get bigger when I show them what they don't see!

Debbie you mean to tell me that it is not JUST about putting a sign on the front lawn and collecting a big check at the Closing

Debbie, watched the video to end, laughing my A.... off!   SO true, and just mopped floors after my open house this weekend.    Have moved many a couch and furniture, washed windows, even help pack up Sellers that I knew would not make their deadline.    

Good morning Debbie - hard work for the client is the only thing that yields high rewards.  Great video.

I had no idea how much agents do until I became a stager. Of course there are still plenty of agents out there that do none of the things shown in that video....their mls pics are the proof.

It's the agents that really do the hard work that get the best pay off.

Amen, sister!!! And no one showed dead mice on the bed, but I've dealt with my share of those, taking spiders out of bathtubs and running REALLY FAST to put them outside before they slip off whatever I've scooped them up with! Dead birds in woodstoves...the occasional bat poop....you name it. I've filled woodstoves to keep the heat going when the seller had the power turned off in December for my new buyers who couldn't get it back on til the next week...I call it "Real Estate and Other Jobs As Assigned". Loved the credits at the end--too funny!
