Spirits & Wine Tasting Events, Montgomery County, MD

The Montgomery County Department of Liquor Control (DLC) in Maryland is now offering free weekly Spirits & Wine Tasting Events in their stores throughout the county. Click on the link to see the current schedule and to sign up for the weekly email notices. 

One of the first tastings that Chef Dolores and I attended at the Darnestown Liquor & Wine store featured Jack Daniel's Tennessee Straight Rye Whiskey and Single Barrel Rye Whiskey. They were excellent.

Another tasting that we attended at the Kingsview Liquor& Wine store featured Jameson Irish Whiskey Caskmates IPA Edition, Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition and Jameson Black Barrel Select Reserve Edition. Our favorite was the IPA Edition. 

The tasting events provide a fun opportunity to sample spirits and wines before purchasing them.
