Speechless Sundays...Flo - Before & After

Showing in one of my favorite SouthPark neighborhoods yesterday (Royden), my client and I could not believe the difference a week makes - really SIX DAYS! At least here in Charlotte, the rivers, streams and flooded streets have all receded and the sun has been shining brightly nearly all week. Chain-saws continue buzzing across the city each day but, the vast majority of the clean-up in our area is certainly more manageable than it is in our coastal cities.

What a difference a week makes

Please continue to pray for those in North & South Carolina's coastal towns - they really do need all of the support we can give.

Good Morning, Endre Barath, Jr.! We fared quite well until the day AFTER Flo departed! A tree fell on a line near me, knocking out another 1,600 homes. We did finally get the opportunity to give the generator a whirl - and it worked perfectly. In fact, later in the day, we forgot we were on the generator!

No, I can't imagine, Barbara Todaro. It's just so hard to imagine living in coastal cities (or islands) and dealing with this on an annual basis too!

Oh, we fared quite well, Will Hamm - it's our coastal neighbors that we are really worried about - they have lost SO much.

Families moving to the area will be asking about the areas subject to flooding. The thinking has changed.
