Home sales fell again, which is typical this time of year, and prices dropped too in the Anthem Parkside real estate market during November. Sales decreased 14% from October and dropped 3% year over year. The average sale price decreased 12% versus October and was down 6% versus November 2017. The average price per square foot also decreased 1% from October, but was up 12% year over year for the Parkside. The average days on market increased 35% compared to October but was down 12% versus November 2017. The inventory of homes on the market is at a 2.59 month’s supply, still marking a seller's market. The 12 month moving average, $318,631 is up 7% from last year but is starting to wane as well, down $1,116 from October. The number of homes currently on the market fell to 65, while the number of homes currently under contract in the Parkside is 41, signalling another weak report for December.
