We are thrilled for the buyers of this lovely home with stunning views of the Columbia River. We took time to familiarize them with communities in Clark County for several months, and when they pinpointed Washougal, the search was on to find them the right place. Several other homes popped up as possibilities before this one, but something always got in the way. Funny how that works. We kept reassuring them that the right home would become available in due time.
And, it did. As per the norm with most of our transactions, the sellers and the buyers hit it off immediately when they met to discuss the nuances of the home. We could tell they both enjoyed one another's company, and in fact, they ended up having dinner together! Fortunately, the seller's agent was also comfortable with their instant friendship. We know it goes against what we are logically taught to try and avoid - too much interaction between the parties, at least until after closing . It's one of those, "you had to be there," situations.
