You may be wondering if now is a good time to buy a home…or if interest rates are projected to rise or fall in 2019. CoreLogic predicts home prices will appreciate by 4.8% over the next 12 months. In Charlotte proper, our home prices increased 6.9% last year so, that is a considerable savings if you waited until this year.

Interest rates have been creeping up and with Freddie Mac’s prediction that interest rates will rise to 5.1% by the end of 2019, NOW couldn’t be a better time to buy a home in Charlotte.

Debe, my team members report we suddenly have buyers coming out of ears. Sellers not so much, but buyer activity is defnitely rising. Might even put a bit of downward pressure on pricing as buyers have more choices now, too.
