Susan You Will BE Very Missed - We LOVE YOU!

 

 

As I sit down to write this post I am reflecting about Susan and what an Amazing Bright Light she's been to all of us here in the rain and in particular all the Tude Members. She was always so supportive, so cheerful, fabulous sense of humor and let's not forget darn right smart! I never got the chance to meet Susan in person but I knew her heart and soul. I remember the day I reached out to her and asked her if she'd like to be a moderator in BananaTude.  YES she said in her cheery voice and honestly that's what I thought she'd say. I knew she'd be a perfect fit to be a  Tude moderator. And she was for many years. Susan is going to be very VERY missed. She's now, our BananaTude Angel Moderator on the other side - and her humor and fun will come through!  And she'll be keeping her eye on us....

 

Susan's passing gives us another opportunity to think about what's really important in life and how we want to live our lives. So what's important to you today, right now. No need to share it here, simply live it every day and let your light shine on.

Who better to write this than you Anna. I can imagine you had a wonderful friendship and shared many conversations between good friends.  So sad to lose folks this suddenly.  Reading the posts on Facebook was so sad, but also a great tribute to the person she was.  Always there for everyone else.

Anna, I'm so sorry - I know you will miss her in your 'Tude group but, more than anything else, such a bright light in the Rain. 

Such a lovely tribute and seeing her picture reminds me of the kind, gentle soul she was and how very much we'll all miss her.

Hi Anna:

What a wonderful tribute to a very special person who will be missed by Tude members and all the rest of AR who got to know and respect her over the years. I feel so fortunate for having known her...but sadly never got to meet her on my trips to DC over the years and multiple AR meetups.

Remember when it all began such happiness filled the air, not one thought could be brought...when we would not be here.

 

From then till now we spend our life seeking all that's good, for life was such to have it much... and this is as it should...

 

Now the time to say fare well brings ourselves to ponder, for those we touched and touched us back fill us with such wonder

 

Thank you all and to all be well.... I leave you with this thought

 

Don't despair, I'll see you there for all was not for naught

We said goodbye to Susan today at Quantico National Cemetery.  It was a gorgeous spring day.  And even though there was not a hint of rain, when the service ended, we looked up and saw a rainbow.  She will be forever missed, and I know in my life, her influence made me a better person.

It still doesn't seem real. I see her comments sprinkled in recent blogs and comments, and I have a hard time stopping myself from answering. But maybe I should, somehow I know she's getting them.

I was friends with Susan on FB and was so sorry to hear of her sudden passing. She had just returned from her Alaskan trip, I believe. So shocking to hear. She will truly be missed.
