It's been a pretty lovely April.
The spring flowering bulbs put on quite a show and the flowering trees were magnificent. I have had my son Max here for a few weekends home to see friends and my son Mike was here for Easter. My heart was overflowing. There really is nothing as nice as enjoying the company of grown children. I'm very grateful that they like to come home and spend time with their little momma. It's funny to switch places, for now, I feel like they are looking out for me more than or at least as often as I look out for them.
Another reason to be thankful is my friends Don and Nora, who live next door. I've written about them before but Don has once again proclaimed that he is mowing my lawn weekly. I have a little push mower and its hard work and this prince among men insists on helping me. I couldn't be more thankful for both of them. They even call me at night if I forget to close my garage door. Great neighbors and friends.
I am blessed beyond measure by good friends and I hope they all know how grateful I am for their kindness, the laughs, and tears we share and for just being there.
I once had a mortgage person tell me that my clients were always so nice. That made me happy as most of my clients turn into good friends. A client recently told me that she was reading my reviews on Zillow and said that she felt lucky to be working with me. I am very thankful for that and the comment made my day.
So today, 4/25/19, I am thankful. I hope that you have a lot of things to thankful for as well.
Carpe Diem!
