Home sales increased a bit and prices rose as well in the The Sun City Grand real estate market through February. The number of homes sold in Grand for the month of February was up 12% versus January, but down 16% from last year. The average sale price jumped 8% from January and was up 23% year over year. The average days on market was 57, which is a 39% increase over January but 10% less than February 2018. The burn rate (number of homes currently under contract/homes actively on the market) is 2.40 months, a strong seller's market. Currently there are 113 homes on the market in Grand and 81 under contract, which foreshadows a strong report for March. The 12 month moving average price $321,694, continues to edge up, 9% over 2018.
