Sacramento County experienced a -45.6% decrease in number of homes listed FOR SALE in December 2019 vs. the same month a year ago. For the same period there was a 7.8% increase in the percentage of homes SOLD. Pending sales increased 10%.
Interest rates continue to remain reasonably low. It's a GREAT time to buy for those who are finding suitable homes.
Good morning, Myrl Jeffcoat those are eye opening stats!!!! wow ...down 45%.... significant.

Good morning, Myrl... your inventory is as razor thin as ours. I don't see any big changes at my end... what do you forecast for yours?

Good morning Myrl!
The laws of economics is working in consumers favor! They would be wise to contact you for homes to buy and sell. You have something that 80% of the agents in Sacramento don't have - years of solid and successful sales.

Those are some pretty dramatic shifts, Myrl. I don't often look at our county, but we saw some big changes year over year in a number of communities. Carlsbad saw a 25% drop in inventory from a year ago but significantly more sales in December.
