Flying Dog Brewery Blood Mary Ale

 

We have a Saturday afternoon ice storm in Maryland. I decided to sample the Flying Dog Brewery Blood Mary Ale which is part of the Brunch Pack that is currently available. This is definitely a spicy ale with a bloody mary aftertaste. Drink responsibly. 6.8% Alc. by Vol.

 

Behold the Hair-of-the-Dog Holy Grail, a concoction that is both a Bloody Mary and a beer. Using George's Bloody Mary Mix, we've brewed the ultimate brunch sidekick. So don't let us down–garnish accordingly with a lime, celery stick, and/or footlong meatball sub on a toothpick.

Hello Roy - I am not a beer drinker and certainly not an expert so I'm not sure if an ice storm is an appropriate beverage choice rather than waiting for warmer temps.  Either way, I am glad you enjoyed it today.

That's interesting, I've had tomato juice in beer and liked it, so why not?  

We are also having snow, ice and sleet in other areas. Sounds like a good weekend to stay indoors. D
