With the exception of Open Houses I have set aside Sundays for the last 30 years. Now retired from Real Estate it's easy to just give a flat, blunt NO when asked if I will work as a Notary Public on a Sunday.
Every once in a while there is an exception, like this past Sunday. I was asked if I could Notarize a four page document for a man who was injured in a hit and run auto accident. They live out of town but offered to come to my office to get this done.
Compassion will get me to break my own self imposed rules.
I enjoyed our visit, he had brought his wife and son along and as we signed documents their son enjoyed Timmothy's books and Art Gallery.
As a bonus, just as I was locking up, a local artist and his girlfriend came in and asked to see the gallery. That was also an excellent visit and they gave Timmothy a wonderful (brief) review in the Gallery Guest Book.
Here is an extra fun note from the book of REALLY slow learners. After posting the question Am I the only one who hits the wrong button? and receiving lots and lots of good advice I failed to follow any of it and I lost this same post last night when I intended to originally post it. True to what Lyn Sims said "occasionally" you can hit the back button and retrieve it... nope, didn't work last night so once again I had to re-create it once more. BTW I've hit save at least three times now as I've been writting this. 😊
