Registration for Montgomery County Recreation Fall Programs
The hot weather likely has most people thinking of summer activities, but for Montgomery County Recreation, it is time to start addressing cooler days, pumpkins and fall fun. Registration of County Recreation’s fall programs and activities will begin at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 15. The list of offerings will be viewable online at ActiveMONTGOMERY.org starting at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 5
Programs and activities are tailored to a variety of interests, skill levels and ages. Fall offerings include aquatics, fitness, sports, visual and performing arts, therapeutic recreation, and adult 55-and-over programming.
New this fall is that residents will be able to build their own guide with programs to fit their interests. The guide tool will allow creation of a personalized program guide based on categories, locations and ages. Follow Montgomery County Recreation on Facebook and Twitter as more information on the tool is released.
There are hundreds of programs available this fall that promote an active, healthier lifestyle. In addition to online registration, residents can register by mail or via limited in-person appointments. For additional information, call 240-777-6840.
