When your office members become FAMILY........
Just TWO weeks ago, a fellow agent's husband was diagnosed with Cancer! The cancer had spread, unknown to him or anyone else, to his jaw, liver, lungs, colon and even more! The FIRST symptom was a swelling of his jaw, like an abcess tooth would be.
Amazing, seeming fine, walking, talking and laughing, cracking his usual dry humoured jokes ONE DAY....
then we watched him detriorate DAILY..... very very heart wrenching.
this past Thursday, he passed away, exactly 14 days after his first disturbing symptom!
This man spent much of his life in Real Estate making friends easily everywhere he went.
Now, his widow, my friend and colleague is overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and friendship from the entire community!
Everyone in the office has pulled together to support her and assist her any way she has needed it.
My POINT.... we just NEVER know what life has in store for us!
AND if we cant help each other in times of need, then why do we have each other ?
