I am new to the blogging world.

How do you Blog to make it effective?

There are so many places on the internet that offer blogs.  Do you blog everywhere?  Do you pick only a few sites?  You could blog for hours with all of the possibilites.  Do you ever get leads from blogging?  What are your opinions on this new craze?  I have tried doing serveral blogs, but I am wondering if it is just a waste of my time or will it be roductful for me to continue.  Please let me know your feedback.

Thanks!

I only blog here and then post it to my website.  I have gotten one consumer call me from one of my blogs (i've been doing it for about 2 months).  I think it can be overwhelming but I say just start blogging on one site and see how you like it and re-evaluate its productivity in a few months.  Good luck.

AR pings Google, Yahoo among others, so your blo here gets broad exposure. My AR blog has increased my business 30%.

Hi Marla,

You're come to the right place to pose that question. I hope you receive lot's of help here. As for me personally, I blog here on AR and my outside blog I've had for about 13 months. For some I think it's very effective, yet for me my business is almost 100 referral. With that said, I continue to blog for knowledge, on line exposure for my r.e. company and for the many wonderful friends I've made in the blogosphere.
