The World's financial markets received a temporary reprieve late Saturday afternoon upon news that the abruptly removed BLOGS Link Button had been restored to it's rightful place on the ActiveRain Task Bar.
The BLOGS Link Button's return put a timely end to a long day of civil unrest throughout the country. Large uncontrolled mobs of ActiveRain Members in the Dallas/Ft. Worth TX area staged heated protests that quickly turned ugly, resulting in widespread rioting and looting. Local activist, Amanda "Give Me My BLOG Button or Give Me Death" Hall was arrested for inciting numerous area blog wars. As officials escorted her into custody, the surrounding crowds began to chant, "Attica! Attica! Attica!"
Unfortunately, the rebound was short-lived as another ActiveRain splinter group, Rainers Against BLOGS Buttons, threatened to begin randomly hijacking posts if their demands that the BLOGS Button be re-removed were not met. ActiveRain Pollster, Maureen McCabe, published a PollDaddy Widget to determine the majority vote of members, but the widget mysteriously disappeared from her post.
Former ActiveRain employee, Jorgen Hahn, could not be reached for comment.
