Bill, I can imagine how many memories could it bring for you. Even for me, an immigrant, who missed all that, it is fascinating to watch.

Somwhow I get a feel of the era, even though never lived that life.

Jon.

I started high school in 1962, the era ended in 1974, after the 1973 oil embargo. But. O'what a ride!

Bill -that was terrific, thanks for sharing the link. I did have a 57 Ford as well as a 68 GTO. Every good boy deserves a muscle car. I also started high school in 62 and graduated in 65.

Mike,

Despite the draft and civil right riots it truly was a great time. My first performance car was a "64 Valiant Signet 200 convertible, it was extremely fast. I replaced that car with a '66 Dodge Charger, o'how I loved that car. It wouldn't go in a straight line, stop short, or beat the ice cream trucks, but I loved it, a great ride. I ordered my first new car and waited, a '70 Ford Rancharo it was a 150 MPH truck!

My buddy Dan Williams got a new GTO when we gratuated high school in 1966. I mention Dan because I've been trying to find him since 1969.
