I can't tell you when the perfect time to buy for yourself is, but as the economy deteriorates, there is more opportunities for smart real estate decisions. Notice I said smart. It's probably not in most people's best interest to buy houses just to buy them. But those with extra cash left over in this recession are at an advantage. Choosing how to invest it wisely can make a lot of difference.
