A tale of two Republican Governors...

One will become President the other will be history. This two governors, one (Bobby Jindel) decided he would not take any of the stimulus money and the other Charlie Crist) although at first he was against it decided since a senate would be coming open that it was in his best interest to change or at least appear to change sides.

Both have hung their careers on the stimulus package because should it fail, one would be betting that Jindal will ride it all the way to the white house and Crist will not be able to get voted in as dog catcher. However if it works, the opposite will be true. In two years we will know because if Crist is put on the street or Jindal is reelected than that means the public will be moving away from Obama. If Jindal is put on the street and Crist gets in the senate than that means that Obama will be reelected.

Of course the only way the folkes win is if all the crooks are voted out of office and we start with just laymen being elected to public office.

Good post.  Crist is very, very popular here in Florida.

FYI-I had a difficult time getting to the blog.  A message saying I needed a user name and password for the PARMLS kept popping up.  It took me about three minutes to get rid of it.  What a drag.

All politicians start out as laymen; what's the term? "Absolute power corrupts absolutely".

I've been thinking that most of the Republicans (except the 3 Senators who voted FOR) are taking a heck of a chance. If this stimulus package works (and we'd better all hope it does) they aren't going to look good come re-election time.

Personally, I'm for strict term limits- I don't like career politicians.

Charles, it will be interesting to see who remains in power across the board over the next few years.
