Personal Bio:

I thoroughly enjoy the great outdoors and pristine wilderness found in this great state of New Mexico. There is nothing like the challenge of a difficult hike or camping and relaxing by a cold mountain stream or freshwater lake.  My lovely wife and I enjoy biking  and hiking along the excellent trails found all around Albuquerque, the Sandia Mountains and along the Bosque (cotton wood forrest).  Our Miniature Schnauzer Dixie keeps us entertained at most any time and serves as mascot.  I enjoy working around the home with various yard projects in order to create a great place to relax and listen to some good music.  I do enjoy playing my acoustic guitar but I am the first to admit I’m no Tommy Emanuel or Chet Atkins but I still find it relaxing as well as challenging.  I am a strong believer in paying it forward and being the best man I can be both in my personal and professional life. John Works Great With Military Families!

We are a military family and buying and selling homes seems to happen every few years.  In all our moving John has been the best Realtor we could have hoped to work with.  He was recommended to us from cousins that also had a wonderful experience buying with him.

I contacted John from Florida with a strict idea of what I wanted in a home and an even stricter budget.  John met us once we got to Albuquerque with a list of homes that fit our requests and took us all over the East Mountains one weekend.  That was quite a job with a military man, VERY pregnant wife, 3 year old, and a kooky mother-in-law; all with opinions.

We found a house we loved in the East Mountains / Edgewood. John was informative, professional and always got back to us quickly whenever we had any question no matter how small.

Time To Move John's Your Man!

When our family needed to move from Minnesota to Albuquerque, my husband stayed up north to sell and I came to buy (the most fun for sure).  While looking at a builder spec home I asked the representative if she could recommend a good Realtor since I knew nothing about the city.  She recommended John McCormack of Albuquerque Homes Realty aka Team McCormack.  I am certainly glad I took her advice.

I let John know my "must haves" and wish list. Moving from a lake home to the desert was culture shock and I don't think I made it easy, but he came through like a champ.  The only minor glitch in the entire adventure, proving he is human, was the day we walked out onto the balcony of an upstairs bedroom of a vacant house and the door blew shut behind us and locked. There we stood and there was not a soul to be seen. A phone call by John rescued us shortly and I thought it was really much funnier than John did.
