Automobile Infusion for the Aficianado, Today's Display at Mercato, Naples, Florida - 01/16/10 08:32 PM
From Mustangs to Maseratis, Fords and Ferraris, Bentleys and Bowties (Chevrolet that is).  What a great collection and venue for a fine event.  The weather was fabulous at a balmy 76 with a few gusts.  Enjoy!
 
I was hoping to see Ferrari's new replacement for the aging F430 series but it won't be here in the US for another couple of months from what I'm being told.  There will be 6,000 units built. A friend had sent me an email earlier and it had a number of witticisms included, one of which I've added here as the title of this post.  Recently, I've been reading about and commenting on the "Do Not Call" list and adding my two cents in about cold calling and prospecting by that method.  There was one comment by a previous Wall Street broker stating that their requirement was 500 phone calls per day or be fired.  I don't believe that volume, which equates to just over a minute per call in an 8 hour day would allow for any rapport to … (2 comments)

Naples Florida Condominium Market Not Out of the Woods Just Yet.............But - 01/12/10 07:21 PM
Not only am I feeling the pain I can hear it also.  The Condominium market in not just Florida, but throughout the US is reeling.  Writhing may be an even better term.  Half or more of our available real estate is condominiums.  The prices are fairly flat-lining right now and there is good reason for that.  The secondary home market is flooded with the "baby-boomers" ready to retire here andthere's also a contingent of buyers in the wings who realize this buying opportunity probably will not occur again in their lifetime.  They're looking at retirement maybe 10 years out as of now and are saying to … (0 comments)

Strategic Defaults & Shadow Inventory Notwithstanding Our Delta is Rising - 01/12/10 05:22 PM
Viewing the Naples, Florida real estate market from a year over year perspective is becoming less and less frightening each month.  What is easily seen here is a desire for Sellers to recapture more of their investment that is not quite yet readily available.  I have not included the total inventory of Collier County and am showing only activity in the single family home market.  We're still moving in the right direction, albeit just slightly less than the previous quarters result, nonetheless it's forward.
