I have a very bizarre situation, and was wondering what your thoughts were: I was employed by a builder/broker until a month ago. I finalized 2 transactions that were written during my employ with him, but they were for outside deals. The builder just kept the commission and refuses to pay me! At one point, he stalled by telling me he didn't have an ESCROW account set up, and then stalled again by giving me a bad check!

The worst part is I've turned him in to my realtor association, and they are saying that this is "an inter-office commission dispute" and therefore will do NOTHING to sanction him! Can you believe this behavior? I am in the process of suing him- and I have the contracts and the HUDS to prove that he owes me- but I am so disappointed by the reaction of the real estate commission. This man has years of experience over me, so I know he is aware of how the system works- or doesn't. I was just curous as to if anyone else out there had to go through this horrifying ordeal, and if you could offer some words of wisdom!??
