Good grief! It’s not the first time (although I wish it didn’t happen as often as it does) but I’ve just been contacted by another very frustrated Jacksonville home seller who had his home listed for many months and didn’t even get one showing… much less, an offer to purchase.
He had heard about my reputation for creative marketing and practice of consulting with my clients, rather than selling to them. We have an initial consultation scheduled for next week and I’ve just finished researching his property, the listing and the comparable properties that have sold recently … (0 comments)

So, you're a homeowner that wants to sell.  You've had your house listed forever... okay, it just feels like forever but it has been listed for a long time.  And now you feel like you're trapped inside a box.
You haven't gotten any offers or maybe you got an offer or two but they were lowball offers from investors who just wanted to flip it fast for a small profit (nothing wrong with that but if they can buy low and sell a little higher then why shouldn't you just drop your price to the point that they will sell it … (0 comments)

Yesterday, I received a rather ugly reminder; A reminder regarding the importance of regular home maintenance. As I was mapping out my day, making sure all the little ‘fires’ from the day before had been extinguished and that I had my ducks in a row for ‘today’, I heard Susan call out one of those phrases with the power to send a chill up my spine: “Tim, we have a plumbing issue!”  Groan…  
Now, I’m actually pretty handy around the house and generally handle most all maintenance items at home and on our rental properties (when time permits) but plumbing is NOT … (3 comments)
