MRIS just released the sales data statistics for June 2007 for area housing sales.  As has been the story for most of this year and last, housing prices are continuing to trend downward as well as number of sales and total sales volume.
For all of Northern Virginia (which includes Arlington County, Alexandria City, Falls Church City, Fairfax City, and Fairfax County) total sales volume for June 2007 was $1,140,220,908 down over 12.5% from last years sales of over $1.3 billion.  The average sales price was off 1.53% from June 2006 at $569,826.  2,001 housing units sold in June as compared … (1 comments)
