I wanted to reblog this post written by Activerain's Patricia Kennedy. She had some great historical facts here and mentioned a book that everyone would enjoy reading. I am going to look for it in my bookstore. Happy Reading. PS. I am disabling comments so stop by Patricia's blog if you want to make a comment. When you live in Washington, DC, there are memorials all over town , including this one to Thomas Jefferson, one of my favorite founding fathers and one of the authors of the Declaration of Independence. So I ran out to find out why and realized it had frozen. So of course I ran and took some pictures.
Yesterday morning the finches had been diving and taking baths in the fountain but not a finch in site (17 comments)
