Showing Homes in Katy this Weekend I have an out of town client who needs to buy a home this weekend. We were out today and probably for the rest of the weekend looking to buy a home in Cinco Ranch, Pine Mill Ranch, Churchill Farms and Grand Lakes neighborhoods in Katy. The Houston Association of Realtors MLS system is indicating there are only 25 homes available in Churchill Farms which have a median list price of $102.60 per square foot with all 25 being brand new homes being sold by the two builders being Taylor Morrison and Beazer. There maybe additional homes which have not yet been listed. Builders sometimes do not list available homes on MLS but I believe these two builders usually do just that. Churchill Farms Homes Katy Family Oriented Neighborhood Churchill Farms in far west Katy or eastern Fulshear is a fairly new subdivision that began with land being cleared during November 2011 and homes being sold without a model(s) during January 2012. Churchill Farms has a Fulshear mailing address. The neighborhood is considered Katy by some folks and is considered Fulshear by others. The key here is that this neighborhood has a small town feel and is close to the City of Fulshear while at the same time Houston is approximately 34 plus miles away.

New Construction Home Sold and Closed in Katy/Fulshear My client purchased a new build home during the early spring of 2013 and this home was closed two weeks ago in mid-October 2013. I did not post a blog about this closing as my client had not yet moved into this beautiful home. This new home purchase is what we call a dirt sale as there is nothing except for the lot when the initial contract was written. I was checking on a new home my client built in Churchill Farms yesterday and decided I would take several pictures and do a photo walking blog about this new and wonderful neighborhood. I previously in late June 2012 wrote a detailed blog about Churchill Farms which can be described as the Definitive Source and you can view my blog by clicking here. I was actually driving my car through the neighborhood as it was way too hot to actually get out and walk.

New Home Development to Begin in Fulshear near Katy Texas Beazer Homes has teamed up with Taylor Morrison homes to develop and build homes in Fulshear Texas. The neighborhood is named Churchill Farms and will consist of approximately 570 homes when completed. Each of the two partners is taking a 50% share of development and home lots costs.
