Some good news for Denver homes for sale today from the Denver Business Journal. While year over year home prices have declined, we're starting to see a slow up trend in month over month statistics. This news corresponds to what we've been seeing for a few months now. While the data always lags (these statistics are for April) over the last several months we've been seeing much more activity and many competing bids - especially for Denver HUD homes and Denver foreclosures. This is certainly good news for the market as we see Colorado bank owned homes start to slowly taper off. Colorado was ahead of most states moving into the foreclosure mess and we still appear to be ahead of most states coming out of it. The numbers keep slowly, slowly trickling down in Colorado. We're still seeing activity in the housing market creep back as the foreclosures disappear.
