Reviewing the Single Family home sales for the Mississippi Gulf Coast good news is in the reports!
April saw the number of homes sold during the month down from 286 to 281 homes sold. Not a significant change in homes sold. However, during the month of April, the Median and Average price of homes that did sold increased. The median price increased from $86,763 in March to $93,900 in April! That's over 8% increase!!! And the Average price increased from $112,740 in MARCH to $118,253 In April! That's about a 5% increase.
Here is what happened on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in Home sales for the month of December 2011
Number of Homes SOLD 295 Average SOLD Price $123,906 Median SOLD Price $120,000
This compares with Nov 2011 homes stats: Number of Homes SOLD 276 Average SOLD Price $116,733 Median SOLD Price $100,000
And as compared to a year ago in December 2010: Number of Homes SOLD 293 Average SOLD Price $118,687 Median SOLD Price $100,000
So compared to the month before December was better than November in every way, both in sales volume and average and median … (0 comments)

Hi All, I just wanted to let you all know, that I was born and rasied in Brooklyn NY. I lived there till I was almost 30. The National Association of REALTORS research has disclosed today that consumer confidence for the last week is up. If it this trend continues throughout the month, this will be the second month in a row that consumer confidence has risen. That's Great News! That is the engine that drives our economy. What people think and believe, generally foretells, whether they will be buying or not. IF they feel confident, then they buy more, raising up the general economy, which in turn generates, more production, more jobs, and a better economy. Hello Everyone! Well here are the stats for the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the month of October according to the MS Gulf Coast MLS. Total Single family properties sold in October 195 Avergage Price of properties Sold in October $124,816 Median Price of properties Sold in October $110,000
These statistics show that October was a slow month for single family properties here on the coast. The number of homes sold in September was 241 with about the same average sales price (124,550) and a slightly higher median price of $117,900. But, to really take advantage of the Foreclosures, I find that you have to be right on top of them. The really good foreclosures that come on the market, aren't still available by the time the weekend comes. Has anyone done a short sale on the equator system? Have you had a buyer walk away and hit the reject button? Do you know what happens if they come back???? You start all over. Once you hit that reject button on Bank of America's equator system, you cannot submit any other offers on that property, re submit or anything until they reset the system. HI EVeryone! I was just wondering how many agents or home sellers use Video in selling their homes. I know I have used videos on some homes, but not on all of them. Have most of you developed a channel for home selling on youtube? Do you video all your properties or just some. What kind or response are you getting.

Here are some stats for the Mississippi Gulf Coast From Year to date 2009 (Jan 1- May 21 2009) versus Year to date 2010 (Jan 1- May 21 2010) There has been some positive news and some negative news. First comparing residential properties that have sold in 2009 year to date for the Ms Gulf Coast MLS we find that the Overall Median Price of homes has gone down from $135,000 in 2009 to $124,000 in 2010. Says the Sun Herald, "The event features saltwater categories ranging from amberjack to stingray with six additional categories in the freshwater division.
