The National Association of REALTORS® annual survey, Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers 2010, found some interesting GREEN facts about home buying decisions.
Commuting costs and environmental efficiency are more and more becoming factored into purchase decisions. 35% rated commuting costs "very important", 35% said they were "somewhat important" and less than a quarter rated them "not important".
The #1 environmentally-friendly feature considered "Very Important: by all buyers in all regions was heating and cooling costs.
