Michigan Renaissance Festival Celebrates 32 years The Michigan Renaissance Festival comes to Holly, Mi again this year. The festival runs every weekend through October 02, 2011. Each weekend has a different theme. The setting is the shire of Hollygrove. Recreating Renaissance (circa 1586-1600)

Guests attending the festival will be greeted by belly dancers, sword swallowers, sword fighters and musicians all dressed in period costume. MANY guests like to dress up in costume as well. Margaret Rome of Baltimore, MD reached a milestone today in Active Rain -- 800,000 points.
For those of us that think it can't be done, think again. Margaret has been a member of Active Rain for over five years. I tried to post the blog below this morning. I wrote it in ten minutes. THEN -- ACTIVE RAIN was ACTING UP. I tried and tried and tried to post for 45 minutes and it wouldn't post. I left the house by 7am and didn't get back until after 9:30pm. SHOOT!!! I missed Barbara-Jo logging in and crossing 700,000 points. By the time I went back, she had added another 1,000 points through blogging and commenting. This woman is a blogging machine.....

This is not the same as having your phone on ice. ICE is an acronym for In Case of Emergency.
This idea has been around for a number of years, yet not everyone is adapting.
The reason for ICE on your phone is to help emergency first responders if you are unable to talk in a situation. Without this information first responders are unable to communicate with persons that may need to know about your status. Your phone is frozen like it's on ice.
