It's that time of the year again that all of Sants's Elves make sure all the letters from Santa go out to the kids all over the world. Its the only post office with the name Santa on it. It has been traced back since 1914 sending replies to kids all over. My niece just came in from Germany and she told me about letters getting sent to Germany from Santa Claus Post Office. December 1, 2007 Bockstaher Auction Service had an estate auction in Mariah Hill, Indiana. The weather was cold but there was still a strong turn out. The bidding was active. The environment was clean and friendly. The coffee and soup was hot to keep you warm and the sandwiches and pie filled your stomach. The items included household items, tools and antiques. All was very clean and high quality. Bockstaher Auction Service is located in Santa Claus, Indiana owned and operated by William "Bill" Bockstahler.
This year the festival of lights will be on Dec 8th and 9th. Starting Saturday, Dec 8th will be an all you-can-eat pancake breakfast with Santa at the Santa Claus United Methodist Church Campground from 7-10 am. There will be a Christmas craft show and pictures with Santa Claus at the Santa's Lodge and American Legion from 9-5on Saturday and 10-4pm on Sunday. Open House at Santa Claus Museum at 9-4 on Saturday and 10-4pm on Sunday. Christmas parade at 1:00 pm on Saturday. Family Holiday Movie at the Santa Claus United Methodist Church at 2:30pm. Holiday Concerts at Santa's Lodge 3-5pm on Saturday and 2-4 pm on Sunday. Festival of Lights at Christmas Lake Village will be both Sat and Sun from 5-9pm. Admission is free.
