Tips for adding more wood flooring to your house - 09/29/11 10:01 PM
Tips for adding more wood flooring to your house My wife and I are big fans of wood floors. When we bought another house last year it had wood flooring in the entry, hall, kitchen and breakfast room. The living room was carpet as was the dining room. With three young grandsons living close by and visiting often, carpet in the dining room wasn’t working. So we had additional wood floor for the living and dining room feathered in to match the rest of the house. Today we got our final coat of Polyurethane and can move furniture back in tomorrow. Have you ever wanted to plot multiple addresses on a map? Maybe for a tour of homes or a map of investor or 1st time home buyer specials. The easiest and best way is to know the GPS coordinates for each address. It isn’t likely that those are in your MLS or other sources of data. Here is a handy website that will convert your rows of addresses to their corresponding GPS coordinates. And the good news is, it’s free. http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/geocoder/ You can also make maps, create GPX files and more. (2 comments)

Graphics For Bloggers [#6] - ActiveRain Math - 09/24/11 11:26 PM
Craig “the wizard” (my nickname for him) Daniels has a great post for helping your pictures, headers, etc. work. Craig mentions to keep the width of your pictures for the main body at 684 pixels wide or less. I have settled in on 483 pixels wide as my standard crop / re-size and it seems to work on my “regular” blog, outside blog and Localism. Nothing magic about the 483, I just wanted to leave a little room for white space so I’m using 483 instead of 684. PS: Subscribe to Craig’s blog. Every post is a winner! Via Craig (5 comments)
