I love having clients this time of year buying or selling their home here in Eastern NC. The holidays tend to be a bit slower and I often correlate that with the time change. I also think homes tend to be decorated and personalized a bit more this time of year as well.....but, I also know the competition is low this time of year. This to me is a great time to sell..or buy. For sellers the buyers that come through are more serious and you have less competition meaning your odds for a sale is increased. I am thankful today to get most of my appointments complete before the predicted rain/sleet/snow arrives late tonight. I cant complain as this has been an unusually warm past few months and has kept our real estate market moving.. Its been a busy week for me with incoming buyer clients. Knowing the next two days will affect school systems and typically causes most agents to panic and cancel any showings they have on the books .. I too settle in this afternoon preparing for Armageddon ! Ahem... sarcasm inserted. I am actually hoping my Saturday buyers will still want to venture out and that home … (16 comments)
