I get this question often when I have a client looking to purchase waterfront property. This is also important in other areas that may not be as obvious. Even some of the smallest of streams can cause flood situations. So where do you find this information? Well sometimes it is mentioned on a listing of a property for sale although this isn't always the most accurate means to determine this fact.
